RULES FOR HONORARY MEMBERSHIP
As at 11th May 2009.
Honorary Membership is offered by The Board of the Club. It
is offered to a person who has provided dedicated and
meritorious service which has spanned a long period of
time. A keynote of Honorary Membership is that the majority
of members have to have benefited from the service.
Nomination for Honorary Membership (HM) must come from a
member and requires two thirds majority support from the
Board.
Honorary Membership provides:
Use of Both lodges at members accommodation rates for the
HM, his/her spouse/partner and children (whilst of school
age). Bookings may be made during exclusive membership
booking period.
Honorary Members –
Do not own shares in the Cooperative,
Do not pay subscriptions or calls,
They may not transfer membership except to their
spouse/partner in the event of the HM’s death,
They do not have the right of vote in Club matters,
They may not nominate their children to Associate
Membership (AM)
